There have been some operational issues affecting bin collections and we would like to apologise to residents for any inconvenience caused. Although the majority of householders are not affected, some householders have had a change of collection day or week. New routes together with some vehicle breakdowns have caused problems with collections in some areas.
We would like to thank you for your patience and co-operation, unfortunately there are always some teething problems when new routes are introduced, but with your help we hope we can resolve it as quickly as possible.
Please do not report a missed collection until 4pm on your collection day as the crews are still working and your collection may just be later than normal.
If you have put the correct colour bags out on the correct day and your waste has not been collected then please report it as a missed collection and we will try to collect as soon as possible, remember your bins need to be out by 6am on your collection day.
It is not a missed collection if you put your bins out on the wrong day, you put out the wrong colour bags or it was after 6am, please take them back in until your next scheduled collection day.
